Stirred Up

Stirred Up

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV)  And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

God, in His infinite wisdom, knowing us intimately, in more than one place, encourages us to stir up love and good works among each other.  The idea of being stirred up is that things can get settled, lives can get comfortable, and there is that need to get back to a level of zeal that we once had, and more.  We don't want to go backward; we want to go forward growing in a crazy way in His grace and knowledge!

I'm not sure what it will take to stir you up into ministry, into service, into the fulfillment of God's Word for your life.

I'm not sure what it will take to stir you up to keep you from settling down into a lackluster, "coasting along," spiritual life.

I'm not sure what it will take to stir you up to step up and be counted for your Jesus who gave His life for you.

But I do know this, God will do whatever it takes to stir you up in these last days to love, serve, and sell out your life for Him until Jesus comes!

Be stirred up today friend!

By Grace,
Pastor Ed
