I became involved with missions after a short term trip to Bulgaria where I was blown away by their openness to Jesus. Little did I know it was my first step on the way to Russia and eventually to Siberia!  Five years later, after planting Calvary Chapel Omsk, Siberia, I returned to America.  My heart is for others to learn what God can do through them on the mission field. I oversee the missionaries and the mission organizations that Calvary Chapel Aurora supports and I also coordinate our short-term mission trips.  I met my wife Irina while in Omsk and we now have a one year old son and a three year old daughter and we speak mainly Russian in our home. I enjoy martial arts, hang gliding, learning history, and work full time as a network engineer.
