I was saved February 28,1991 at Calvary Chapel Downey, CA.  Coming from a Catholic background, I knew about God, but it wasn't until I began reading and studying the Bible for myself that I understood God's love for me in sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins.  When I accepted God's gift of salvation things began to change in my life.  I recognized my sinful nature, and I was ashamed of living a rebellious life doing what I thought was right in my own eyes. His forgiveness of my sins helped me forgive my husband's and He restored our marriage.  He also gave me a desire to serve Him which I have the privilege of doing here at CCA.  My life verse is Matthew 16:24, Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me."  I am privileged to be a pastor's wife and the women's ministry overseer.  I enjoy encouraging women to love God's Word, and to love who they are in Christ.  I am blessed beyond measure to be a daughter of the King of kings.

What's your role at Calvary Aurora? 

I have the privilege of being a Pastor's wife, a mom, and a fellow believer who desires to be an example in all she does.  

What's your favorite thing at the church?

Besides church service, I love women events because I love to meet new women and catch up with friends.

Top three books of all time:

The Bible inspired by God, Let Go by Fenelon, and for leisure any Jane Austen novels.

What advice would you give to a New Believer?:

Steady On, God is for you not against you, Enjoy His Word, and Love His Truths above your own opinion.

I don't have an iPod, but on my iPhone I listen to Ten Shekel Shirt, Worship mix, and

Don't drink coffee, but I love a great Chai Latte with whip cream

Describe "the perfect day":

When I'm able to sleep in and still get all my work done with a great attitude!

What blows your mind most about Jesus?: 

That nothing takes Him by surprise...He has everything under control and He is worthy of my trust!
