Matt Vikdal
Assistant Pastor, Pastoral Care
-Email Pastor Matt Vikdal-
In my senior year of high school the Lord pulled me from the miry pit and I had accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I married my beautiful wife Jean along with her three boys in 1994 and we began attending Calvary Aurora in the fall of 2002. Our two younger boys are married, and our oldest is serving in the military. Jean and I became involved in the marriage ministry shortly after we were taken through a premarital class ourselves and then after taking other couples through the class, we came to oversee the marriage ministry. My life verse is Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
