After years of partying, doing my own thing, struggling with relationships and feeling empty, I received Jesus as my Lord in August of 1989 in Albuquerque, NM and was baptized in July 1990. After meeting Elizabeth at Calvary Albuquerque, we were married in 1994 and moved to Colorado that same week. We spent the next six years church hopping until one of Elizabeth's friends told us about Calvary Aurora and we started attending in June 2000. When two little girls, no older then ten years old rang my doorbell one Saturday morning to tell me about the Jehovah's Witnesses, God placed a desire on my heart for apologetics and defending the Christian faith. After graduating from Metropolitan State in 2004, I was asked to host an apologetics class, which birthed within me the desire to continue teaching other believers how to discern Biblical truths from the lies of false teachers and how to apply those truths in their lives.
My life verse is Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
