Calvary of Aurora began as a Saturday night Bible
study in January, 1999 as an outreach of Horizon
Christian Fellowship Denver.
The growing fellowship was transitioned to Sunday mornings on December
26, 1999 and Calvary Chapel in Aurora continues to be an exciting and thriving
congregation reaching the lost throughout Aurora, Denver, and the surrounding
communities. For many years, Pastor Ed served in various leadership positions in California at Calvary Chapel Downey, where he also completed a 2-year intensive Bible College program. At Calvary Chapel Downey, he served as the single adult pastor from 1996-1999 just before moving to Colorado to be used to plant Calvary Chapel Aurora.
Pastor Ed teaches God's Word with practical
application for the Christian today, never watering down the message of
the Bible, and always reminding the believer of God's great love and grace
toward us. His deep passion is to teach the Bible verse-by-verse, line
upon line, precept upon precept.
Pastor Ed's transparency from the pulpit
is refreshing and allows people of all walks of life to continue growing
in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
He is supported in the ministry by
Marie, his wife of 17 years, and their 3 children.
