Calvary Chapel Bible College at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je
God is doing a fresh new work by His Spirit in the Rocky Mountains at the Calvary Chapel Bible College - Colorado Campus. In Matthew 16, Jesus says, "I will build my church" and this is a work that He is doing - and the exciting thing is that we get to be a part of it! In addition to a new campus, the Lord is using us to plant churches in rural mountain towns. The church in Hotchkiss is being strengthened and the new work in Carbondale was planted on Easter of 2010. We reach out to several surrounding communities. It is our desire that these people will be the best loved, best-fed sheep in the entire world!
CCBC Colorado is located in a breathtaking mountain valley near Aspen, Colorado. We are at 6800 feet, and surrounded by majestic snow capped mountain peaks. Therefore, it is an excellent place to hear from God. This is because many of the noises that can crowd a persons thinking found in the city are not here. That's a part of the vision here - to have a place for students to get away from the distractions of the world and to hear from God for a 4 month season of their life. Some things in your independent self-life will need to "die" and be crucified, but the result will be a resurrection and a newness of LIFE in Christ!
Making a living is important, but so is learning how to live. By enrolling at CCBC Colorado students are making a significant choice to wisely invest their lives, and we are delighted at their interest in “studying to show yourself approved unto God.”
Students will make friends that last beyond this lifetime, and have more fun in Christ than they ever imagined possible.
Students will enjoy in-depth, verse-by-verse Bible study, learning how to rightly divide the Word of Truth and to pray “with all prayer in the Spirit” for God’s will to be done.
Students can expect to be conformed more into the image of Jesus Christ by the transforming power of His Spirit working through the Word of God, and to be powerfully endowed for ministry by the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
May God give His loving heart and constrain others to participate in making disciples of all nations. The staff at CCBC Colorado earnestly prays for their students calling, equipping and commission, as they give their whole heart to knowing Christ and making Him known.
