Apologetics and Discernment Ministry
The heart of apologetics is to faithfully follow the Biblical mandate to "always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you" (1 Peter 3:15). We are also told to "hold fast the faithful word as we have been taught" (Titus 1:9), and to "contend for the faith that was once handed down" (Jude 3). This is why, Calvary Chapel Aurora is dedicated to teaching, equipping and discipling Christian believers "to give a rational defense of the Christian faith" by teaching on world religions, cults and essential Christian doctrine.

Community Groups
Dear Calvary Family,
In Acts 20:20, we see the early Church taking on this powerful practice of meeting together "from house to house" for teaching and fellowship. I want to personally encourage you to get involved in one of our Calvary Community Groups (formerly known as Home Fellowships). The purpose behind these weekly gatherings is to encourage each member of the group to grow in Christ through the study of God's Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship.
In addition, these home groups provide a great opportunity for you to build relationships with other believers in our church body. Our Community Group leaders have been equipped for this ministry through in-depth biblical training, and are committed to serving and ministering God's love to you.
Community Groups also provide a place for sharing in food, fun, and social activities as well as community outreach and missions projects. May God Bless you as you seek to know Him more and enjoy the fruit of fellowshipping with other believers in one of our Calvary Community Groups.
