Julie Hirsch:

Julie and her family have attended Calvary since 2003.  In the fall 2007 the Lord laid it on her and her sweet sister, Lori Bowman, to start the Titus 2 Mom's. She is very blessed to serve along side her sisters to encourage moms to grow in their relationship with the Lord.  Julie remembers the first time holding her new baby girl in her arms.  She felt such great joy in the gift that the Lord had given her and is so thankful for being a mom.  She feels that motherhood is a very noble and wonderful responsibility given by the Lord.  Psalm 127:3 "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward." As the Lord has added to her precious family with two more boys she knows that the Lord wants her to continually guide them in His ways.  As each of her children grow older she rejoices in their hearts growing closer to Him. As a parent her and her husbands desire to grow closer the Lord and teach His love to others, especially their children. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.  You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." As she also grows in the Lord she has fallen more in love with Him and His Word and enjoys her time spent with Him.

Ernie Treu:

Ernie spent most of her childhood in Colorado, then moved to Texas after marrying her amazing husband, Branden in 2001.  After doing children's ministry there for about six years, they made their way back to Colorado in April of 2007 as they were preparing for the first addition to their family, a precious boy named Silas.  Already having visited Calvary Aurora with family in years past, they quickly made it their home church.  Branden and Ernie love the solid, biblical teaching, fellowship with other growing believers, and opportunities for ministry in this active body of Christ!  In 2009, they had another son, a happy boy named Ethan.  Ernie is so thankful for these sweet (and sometimes sour!) children that the Lord has entrusted to her care and also realizes that motherhood is an incredible calling from the Lord.  She is amazed daily at the Savior's relentless, amazing love and desires to show that same love to those around her, first and foremost to her husband and children.  John 15:5 says "I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."  Ernie is learning more and more that the Lord has a great plan for her and her family but that nothing can be accomplished without His leading and our following.  Her desire is to walk daily with the Lord, listening, hearing and loving Him.

Sara Greer – Crafters 4 Christ:

Sara Greer was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and moved to Aurora in 1989.  She has lived in the same 10 square miles all her life.  She and her younger sister were raised by their single mom.  Their grandparents always lived very near by as well.  Sara wasn't raised in the church, but a friend in middle school invited her to a lock in at Vineyard.  A couple of months later, in March of 1996, Sara gave her life to the Lord.  After that, the whole family was back in church including her grandparents.  At the end of senior year in high school she met and married her husband, Carl.  They still live in Aurora and have 3 kids.  After the birth of their first child, Sara, who was already a crocheter found out about a need for preemie clothes and other hand made items for those in need.  That was the very beginning of Crafters 4 Christ.  She loves serving the Lord, by blessing others with hand made items.  Be it a joyful time or one of sorrow, God uses every situation.

Sue Bowman – Covered with Love:

Susan and her husband Bob gave their lives to the Lord in 1982 and have been married for 38 years.  They are blessed with 3 children, 3 children by marriage and 9 grandchildren.  Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa is where they met the Lord and started building their families foundation on God's living Word.  Susan has a heart for children and is a dedicated servant and encourager for the Lord.  Her hearts desire is to show God's love to all people, to be open to His calling and to walk humbly with Him. The verse that has always sustained her is Romans 8:28 "We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."  The Lord has opened up new opportunities to her with the 'Covered with Love' ministry that welcomes and reaches out to new moms and their precious babies. Her heart for children is reflected in Psalm 127:3-5a "Children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them;"  She is honored to be part of the Titus 2 Moms and have the privilege to welcome new life, God's gift, into the family of God.

Carli Betts - Fruitful Heritage Toddlers

Carli has been attending Calvary Chapel Aurora since 2002. She is married to her wonderful husband, Gary, and they have two amazing little girls. Carli loves every aspect of being a wife and mother. Carli loves to be around children and has a heart to teach and encourage them. She has served in the Children's Ministry and after the birth of her first daughter became part of the Titus 2 Moms team.  Proverbs 22:6 says to “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”  Reading to her girls, singing praise songs with them, and watching their love and knowledge of the Lord grow is what brings her joy.  The Lord uses motherhood as a way to teach her to be more like Him; to be patient, loving, consistent, giving much grace, and extending forgiveness.  She is amazed at what the Lord has accomplished in her life and is so thankful for all of His blessings.
